Kindness
A Channeled Message for June 15, 2023
As always, we are glad to be back with you. We hope that you have taken our words and taken to heart that we love you unconditionally. For some that is hard to imagine. But with practice and allowing yourself to travel to the different realms of the spiritual worlds, we will be glad to help you experience that.
Our other question for you today is have you been kind today? And the one we are most concerned with is you, have you been kind to yourself today? We know it is easy to get lost in the daily experiences that you all go through. Whether you work outside the home or work within the home or even when you are having playtime, it is easy to skip over being kind to yourself. The more that you can silence the judge within your mind, you know that voice that picks apart everything you do, the better you will feel. Not everyone has a judge some just have an editor, either one is going to look at things you do and let you know either you did not do them well or that you could have done them better. Most humans are raised being told what not to do as opposed to how to be loving and kind to themselves and others. So, we realize that it is something that, of course, takes practice. We have found that even some who are very kind to others do not offer themselves the same grace. We would like you to speak to yourself the same way you would speak to a dear friend, to a loved one. We are not talking about gushy romantic type of words. We are talking about, wow I did get that finished on time. Oh, I managed to drink all of my water today. I managed to hold my tongue when my coworker was rude. These are things, simple things you can say to yourself when you do something that is right. And when you mess up, as all people mess up, you can tell yourself that it's OK and move on. If it is something you can fix, then fix it, if it is something you need to apologize for, then apologize but then move on. There is nothing that says you have to continually beat yourself up for having done something in error. As we have pointed out before, no human is perfect. To expect perfection of yourself or of anyone else is to be continually disappointed. But by giving yourself grace and other people grace when they mess up, life becomes much easier, there is more of a gentle flow to the way you live your life.
Kindness takes time, especially if you have not seen it demonstrated. We do realize that most of your media, whether it is social, news, television, whatever type of media it is, their point is not usually to point out the kindness of someone. It is so easy to find the negative, you don't even have to look most days to find something you could complain about and use to create unhappiness within yourself. But if you train your eyes and your mind and your heart to look for goodness, to look for kindness, to look for positive things, then it becomes easier for you to express kindness, to express positive things. You always have a choice in how you look at life. Are there times when it is really difficult to look at life positively, of course? At those times we highly suggest that you connect with your guides, with your God, Source, the Universe, whatever higher being you have connected with, we suggest you connect with them and let them remind you that you are loved, that you are deserving of kindness, and that you are worth being nice to.
We thank you for joining with us for this brief message. We want to remind you that you are loved, that you are worthy, that you are enough, that you carry so much love within you that there is enough to circle the earth many times. We thank you, we love you for always.
